Shoes, Sales and Sodding Work!

Apologies for my absence over the past few weeks or so. Spending hours at a time makes you really despise staring at a screen any longer than you have to so I couldn't really bear to update. But as of today I am free from data entry. Hooooooray! Even getting paid an extra day but given it off, result eh? This has kinda been me lately...

Yeah, not been much fun but this means that I can maybe go shopping and enjoy the sales that have been taunting me for the past few weeks...They are everywhere and its not really much fun to look but not buy. Whats the point?!

Anyway, I'm signed up the Outnet newsletter just for a little more sartorial teasing and they often have spontaneous sales, including "Going, going, gone". In a few hours these slices of gorgeousness, Christian Louboutin Rosazzisimo sandals will be available.

The idea is that the price drops over time and you get to lock the price you want...kind of lowest bidder wins or rather how long will you wait to snap them up, in the hope that no one gets there before you or you buy them too early. Head over to the website, register and keep your fingers crossed you land them!

Anyway, the weather is gorgeous here in the UK at the moment. It is technically my weekend now and I am dreaming of being somewhere like this...

Oh yes, I am so badly craving to jump on a plane and get a holiday. I haven't been away and the summer has been so fraught with money worries and job hunting that I feel like I haven't been able to properly destress and chill out for a while. So yeah, I'd love to be there now. Anyone wanna offer me a ticket away?! Haha!

Hope your all ok and apologies for not being around lately. I have so much to catch up with...a week away is a long time in blogville isn't it?

It's Vintage Dahling!

Wow! Two days is a long time gone in the blogging world. I've spent literally hours just catching up on posts from various blogs and even now I'm not quite done.

I wrote about a week and a half ago that I'd bought some vintage clothes on ebay and was beginning to get worried as they hadn't turned up. Anyway, my exhausted self (one mess night out and no sleep later...) was woken by the doorbell going. My purchases had arrived :) I would love to be able to post some photos of them but...its that pesky no camera situation again. I just tried to take it on my phone but the quality is awful. I may be wearing one of my dresses in a few days so I can show you then if I get some photos done :) Both are lovely though..One dress is actually more like a tunic, its bum skimmingly short so would have to wear with leggings or thick tights etc. I adore it though, its made of white lace with dragonfly detailing in the middle down the front. I tried to find out some information about the label, "Miuse" but couldn't. The other dress is much longer, below my knees and has a gorgeous summery floral print and ties around the back. Again I love it and am so glad I took a risk and bought them. Both dresses seem to be a great condition too which is fab!

The non camera situation may be soon to change, after cursing lack of jobs and money I've bagged myself a job for 4 weeks. So very happy about that and tomorrow I have an interview for a job in term time which seems to be my perfect job (it involves social networking!) so fingers crossed. Maybe one day I will have a camera and then I can work on trying to get photoshop too!

For now I'll leave you with some random pictures that I like. Also thanks for all the comments lately, I was quite surprised to log on to my email and see so many comments had been left!

Shopping Sunday...

Bad times for my bank balance and my guilt today. Boredom found me wandering the pages of a terrible land known as ebay. Worse still it found me seeing pictures of clothes I liked and then in some kind of daze I was bidding on such items. I won them and my wardrobe is already asking how it could possibly fit more things in. We shall see. Anyway, this is what I have bought...this lace dress and also this dress. It is payday in a few days time plus they are bargains (if they fit and I like them) else I could re-sell. I will update you on what they're like when they arrive!

Apparently the UK is in for a heatwave this week with temperatures up to 30 degrees celcius. Time to get out of the office, ditch the housework and head outdoors. Cue outdoor inspired imagery...

This dress I found on etsy is gorgeous...were it not for my spending already, I'd be tempted to get it myself!
